Yes, there is a right and wrong way to constuct this. What happens is depending on which way you put the legs on, the cart will either be difficut to turn or easily turns corners. If you follow the directions you won't easily be able to turn the cart if you use the handle. You'd have to use the side without a handle. I don't understand why one way you can easily steer and the other way you can't but that's the way it is.This explains why a co-workers cart (same brand, different style) doesn't steer well if you use the handle side. We were clueless until we went to put ours together. Then it clicked that there is a right and wrong way to put them together. If you find yours doesn't steer well, simply switch the positioning of the legs as they have them in the instuctions. Voila!
