The back is rubberized so it doesn’t slip even the slightest on my tile floor which I just installed. The dogs were having a lot of trouble with traction on the tile, so adding the runner is working out well. It also helps to dry those paws a bit on trips outside and back in when it’s wet coming and going through the doggie door. My tile is white with charcoal grout, so the gray/black runner matches well. The runner arrived pretty quickly. How long it will last with the dogs going across it multiple times each day I can’t yet say.
