I give it 5 stars because is nice thickness. I have one for about 5 months now, and its been holding up well. Just purchased 2 more for my other two kids beds. I prefer the plastic full cover for cleaning up accidents easier. In time I am sure the plastic is going to break down and Ill need to replace, but that's with anything. I had cloth water proof covers, but even after some time and washing those are no longer water proof.
