These scissors are very sharp and feel good in my hand as far as control. I like the way I can trim around her mouth, chin and head with precision and they are large enough that they seem intimidating to her so she sits still (or as still as an eight month can be for any length of time lol!). I was hesitant to purchase these due to the cost but they are very good quality scissors and from my research most quality scissors are quite pricey.
