Thanks! *My Best Furry Friend recently turned a year old( Feb.) and I switched her from puppy food to adult dog food, and my vet always recommends an added daily vitamin (no matter what brand dog food you feed), so I was on the hunt for a good multivitamin. My previous BFF was almost 17 yr.s old and had been on a senior formula from a different brand for years so now I was looking for something for my 1 yr. old and found that this brand/formula had all the important vitamins and minerals plus several of the extras that I was looking for. The inclusion of "eye healthy" nutrients ( lutein,Lycopene, Zeaxanthin ... ) are as important to dogs as they are to people and most other doggie vitamins don't have them, this does. After searching and reading ingredients on as many items as I could, I decided on this brand for my buddy. It has everything I was looking for at a reasonable price. Although they are bacon flavored my girl has a problem with pills of any kind, ESPECIALLY her monthly heartworm prevention pill (liver flavored), so for now I make them more "fun" by adding some peanut butter & banana or just peanut butter and make it more of a treat experience, but I will decrease the added incentive as time goes on, it's only been a few weeks. Either way to me it's what's in them that counts and getting them into her is what counts for now. If it were my previous dog she would have been eating them right out of the bottle with a wagging tail. I adopted this little girl from a shelter at 9 mo. old and don't know all her reasons/habits/behaviors yet, so one step at a time. I'm happy giving these to her and would recommend checking these out and comparing the ingredients. Gotta go, someone brought me a 3rd squeaky toy, in case I didn't notice or HEAR, the first 2..... I have to sneak it in his food or he spits it out, but after only a few days, his coat is unbelievably soft, he smells better, and less itchy. I'm just really impressed by the noticable difference. When I opened, it had a sharp bitter smell, inside had weird coating and pills look different than what I got previously (picture shows previous order on the left) . Because of smell I'm returning and finding another product.This is added to homemade dog food every morning. Dosage is clearly stated by weight of dog. Easily cut in half, crushed and sprinkled on food.
