The shell has a beautifully carved dragon on the front and the back is so smooth it is almost like a worry stone. The weight is not too light to feel cheap but not so heavy as to break my neck. The only difference with the picture and issue I have with the product is the string that it came with. It doesn't have a silver connector from the shell to the string, the string is knotted on. And the string is cheap thin and red. I will need to get something more sturdy, but that is an easy fix.
