E.g. door opens then Alexa announces and turns on a light.** A: No I can’t seem to get this working using. I can create a routine in Alexa and manually run it, but the trigger from the sensor doesn’t fire it. Googling seems to be missing functionality in their product. Gutted. **Q: Can the sensor be turned off completely? I mean there are any buttons on the sensor itself to turn it completely off?** A: No, there are no buttons on the sensor to turn it off. You can take the battery out if you want to disable it.... but the idea is to set the on/off condition using the app. Different alert modes can have different on/off settings. **Q: I used to get instant notification if it was open. It now only gives me a notification after a set time? Can I have an instant notification?** A: The developers seem to mess with the app a lot. I used to get notifications when my door sensors opened and closed. Now I only get them when the door opens. Sometimes it nevers registers as having closed.
