The arm attachment is quite useful at times, but you may want to counter-weight it. There is a hook that helps for that. The tripod legs swing out with a pressure-latch to any angle rather than fixed angles. This is very nice, but also will require a little bit more maintenance to keep the pressure appropriate. A hex screw is provided, along with a mount to hold the hex screw to a leg, to enable you to adjust it if needed. Usually, you won't need to.The head on this kit isn't worth it. It's not particularly smooth, and it doesn't fit the quick release plates of other heads that I have. I've retired the head in favor of an Acratech head.Overall - get the tripod. It's versatility will make it the tripod you use the most.
