These tights are truly purple. Not reddish, burgundy, pastel, or mostly blue. The tights were completely opaque up until reaching the tops of my thighs, and even past you could only barely see my underwear beneath. The toe seam feel is noticeable, if that is something that bothers you. I had enough give to put the seam on top of my toes instead of at the ends, which was more comfortable. The material is extremely soft to touch. When I first tried them on I was thinking they were "ok" but something just felt off or not 100% comfortable at the top. Realized I was wearing them backwards. 2 seam lines goes in the front, 1 seam goes in the back. In case you haven't needed to wear tights or panty hose in a long time like myself. After fixing that, I could wear these all day. They might be a bit too warm outdoors in the summer. But I am trying them during a cool autumn, so I am not sure. They are not so super thick where you would be dying to take them off at an outdoor event like a Ren Faire. These would make great tights for cosplay. I've only put them on twice so I'm not sure how they will hold up long term. There was no splitting or anything just putting them on, so I have hope they will last until my clumsy self tears them on something.
