**Q: Can this be used on chalk board with traditional chalk?**
A: There is a small suction cup that is used to attach the tool to the white board. I am not sure it would attach to a regular blackboard.  Also the hole where the marker goes is not big enough for a regular piece of chalk.

**Q: Can it be used on a dry erase board?**
A: Yes. This can definately be used on a dry erase board!

**Q: I have dry erase paint on my dry wall. Will the suction cup stick on it?**
A: As long as a suction cup will stick to it this will do fine.

**Q: What suction cups work with these compasses?  The suction cups have broken and I want to make sure I get the correct size.**
A: Works great as intended.
