The reason I gave 4 stars is bc when unrolling the mat I had to hurdle the darn thing to flip it to the other side so it wouldn't curl right back up again. Once flipped I laid something heavy on the corners so edges would be flat to the floor. I just purchased the other day for my loft area that has laminate flooring. My son uses the desk chair for hours of gaming and it started to damage a piece of the floor so I wanted to protect it before it got worse. So far so good. I'll probably remove the items on the corners today.
