The handle also makes it very easy to grab hold of without putting a finger in the butter. I should have thrown out the plastic one a long time ago. I really do like this one.

Whenever the butter melts even slightly, it drips out the open end by the finger handle. There isn't even a lip. I inadvertently messed up a rug. It is now in the garbage can.
