The pegs fit snug without slipping.I like the case and bow as well.It doesn't come with good strings, like all other student violins. Actually, the G, D and A seem fine. The E string, however, seems unplayable. I did not mark down my rating for this, though, because strings are very personal and I would not want to pay more for a violin that came with good strings that I don't care for.addendum: I put on new strings and then realized that I had made the mistake of having tuned the E an octave lower than it should have been. I am not going to re-try the original string as I like my new strings a lot, but I just wanted to note that the error was not the string, it was me. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Missing fine tuners *by X***N on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on April 5, 2017* We got the kid's violin today. Excited to find that the sounds are much better than ~$50 ones. However I found it goes without fine tuners (see pic)! The product images on Amazon shows it DOES have fine tuners; the Cremona 130 1/10 violin my friend got also goes with find tuners! I've requested the missing parts (4 fine tuners) and I can install by myself.
