However 8mo later the striker/latch is poorly made and has stripped causing me to have to climb in through the window of the room where this handle assembly was installed and remove the handle in order to open door. We have 4 different locks in our home(for pantry, study, Special needs). 2 are fingerprint and 2 are keypad. This is my favorite one because of ease of use. You just put your hand on the handle naturally and it reads your finger.The ONLY reason I don't give it 5 star is, that I know of, you can't put it on standby, where all my other locks can. For example I want it unlocked for a while. If it had this feature (maybe it does? Couldnt find it) it would definitely been 5 stars.I have had zero issues and use it 3-4 times a day and haven't charged it a 2nd time yet.UPDATE: had it a while now, came back online to buy another one, apparently it isn't available. Too bad, it works great for me. I noticed some people complaining about using this for their apartment or home. I don't think I would ever have used this for my home. It has a charge port on the outside. It works great for a room you want people to avoid.
