The ITALIAN crafted AMANO Tongue Cleanser range has been designed to give a SUPERIOR and LONG LASTING tongue cleaning performance (we have customers using the same AMANO after more than 20 years) - The AMANO will SWIFTLY & VISIBLY REMOVE food & bacterial debris trapped on your tongue, which, if ignored, will cause bad breath, plaque and dental decay. "The AMANO Tongue Cleanser is leagues ahead of the rest of the field" Emma Freud In Tatler - September 2015 - The precise weight and 2-handle design will COUNTER the 'GAG EFFECT' far better than 'light' plastic or metal scrapers - so you will be able to clean further back on your tongue (where the debris lurks) - The AMANO is ENDORSED and used by Dental Professionals - Dentists, Hygienists and Academics - and often featured in The British Dental Journal (eg. November 2016). And we are working with The Malnutrition Task Force - helping older citizens revive fading palates. The AMANO is also ENDORSED and used by Wine Professionals, Writers and Sommeliers - because they know a clean and pampered tongue can better taste the subtle flavours of fine wine (and food). See Decanter Wine Magazine April 2015 - Your AMANO comes in a DURABLE PLASTIC CASE for full protection + Full User & Care Instructions. Your AMANO is Dishwasher SAFE ## Images ![AMANO Tongue Cleaner | Scraper | Fresher Breath | ENDORSED and used by Dental Professionals | Taste Enhancer | Surgical Grade Austenitic Steel ('Crimson Sunset') - Image 1](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41ZTYigc%2BtL.jpg) ![AMANO Tongue Cleaner | Scraper | Fresher Breath | ENDORSED and used by Dental Professionals | Taste Enhancer | Surgical Grade Austenitic Steel ('Crimson Sunset') - Image 2](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41AW62yKseL.jpg) ![AMANO Tongue Cleaner | Scraper | Fresher Breath | ENDORSED and used by Dental Professionals | Taste Enhancer | Surgical Grade Austenitic Steel ('Crimson Sunset') - Image 3](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41zFMwu0UfL.jpg) ![AMANO Tongue Cleaner | Scraper | Fresher Breath | ENDORSED and used by Dental Professionals | Taste Enhancer | Surgical Grade Austenitic Steel ('Crimson Sunset') - Image 4](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/31Ps2Ou81tL.jpg) ![AMANO Tongue Cleaner | Scraper | Fresher Breath | ENDORSED and used by Dental Professionals | Taste Enhancer | Surgical Grade Austenitic Steel ('Crimson Sunset') - Image 5](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51L%2BDns4%2B1L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Black Tongue Granny *by C***R on 23 May 2017* I bought this for my 86yr old mother in law, she is a tea addict ! I hadn't seen her for a long time and when I saw her I was shocked her tongue was black ! Within 1 week of using the Amano Tongue Cleaner and some intense cleaning her tongue is now pink again. I'm very happy with the Cleaner and would definitely recommend it to anyone ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wouldn't live without it now *by B***T on 22 January 2016* I use this daily and it is quite comforting to see the overnight tongue "build-up" falling into the sink! These tools are commonplace in some parts of the world but relatively unheard of here. I think they would probably solve the bad breath problems that many people suffer from, and it's much easier and faster to use than the tongue-cleaning attachments that some electric toobrushes come from. The quality is easy to see and I fully expect to still be using the very same one when I'm old and grey (that's about 35 years from now). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great! *by M***E on 6 October 2018* Purchased these on behalf of my wife. She wanted a tongue scraper and went through all that was on offer. The moment she saw these she fell in love with them - has purchased another as she had given it to our daughter who, un-beknowing to her had been looking for one also. She found it a bit expensive with the P&P but could not resist plus it has a very nice carrying case - just perfect as she will be going abroad shortly. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/107605981-amano-tongue-cleaner-scraper-fresher-breath-endorsed-and-used-by](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/107605981-amano-tongue-cleaner-scraper-fresher-breath-endorsed-and-used-by) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
