I loved the recipes. But the pictures can help a little bit more. Recipes simple and clear. I totally recommend this book.

I am puzzled by the positive reviews of this book as I have honestly never seen such a badly written and edited cookbook. It has been written by someone whose English is so bad you can't tell what they are trying to say  ( a bad translation from German maybe?) The recipes are bizarre and contain ingredients that appear to be typos.  Two recipes call for 400g of  'lean starch' as the main ingredient. Odd in a low carb cookbook and a total mystery - a mistake surely? The writer shows a poor knowledge of how to use the Thermomix and instructions are vague and incomplete, for example omitting temperature or timing. At various points we are asked to finely chop ingredients by hand - isn't that what the Thermomix is for? Quantities are very vague too. For a cauliflower soup the ingredients list 'one small piece of cauliflower' - how is that helpful? The recipes are heavy on artificial substances - protein powder and artificial sweeteners.  There are MUCH better low carb cookbooks out there. I have no use for such a terrible book and sent it back.
