I took the chance on this plate after doing a bit of research that did not provide perfect confirmation that this was the correct adapter for me. I needed an adapter to install a 58 L GIVI Outback Top Case. This fit the bill perfectly! When installing this adapter, I just skipped using the underneath brackets that are meant to hook over tubing. There are four holes in the factory plate that lineup perfectly with this adapter. Simply install using the four provided Allen bolts through those four holes. The bolts will just clear the plastic piece underneath with a bit of room to spare. Once installed, you can attach your GIVI top case and it will not block the factory panniers or the small compartment that holds your factory tool kit.
