I worry about that plastic hardening and whatnot in the sun over time and breaking.Also it just mounts flush to the gas tank ring, which would be fine except it means its also touching the gas tank. So they give you this clear sticker to put down to keep it from rubbing on the tank. Seems like it would have been better just to make the mount, you know, 1mm thicker. Fits my 2022 bike perfectly.
