Great film to revive your old Spectra System

*by E***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2013*

Although expensive and finicky, this film has really delivered great results. There are only 8 photos in the pack, (versus the old Polaroid 10) and you should still shield the photo from light for the first minute or so. The photo takes about 35 minutes to develop but I really like the outcome.I had one rather annoying issue with the film. The last two shots from the first pack came out totally white. It could have been because I was out in the hot sun all day, (shoot and develop in 55-82 deg only) But I'm not sure if it was a camera issue. Will update this review if I have any further issues.

New Polaroid Film is VERY slow and VERY expensive

*by A***H on Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2013*

I read that Polaroid stopped making film in 2008 but a new company had been started by their former employees to continue making their film. I was very excited to get my 1st pack of film because I had been unable to use my Spectra camera for years. I had plenty of film that was still good, however, the built-in batteries were so weak that they could only muster enough power to spit the 1st photo out, then died. Anyway, this "new Polaroid film" developed VERY slowly. I almost threw it away when my 1st 3 photos stayed dark. I came back 20 minutes later and behold - perfect instant pictures. My problem is also the cost - extremely expensive. You only get 8 photos (instead of the previous pack of 10). Because of the slow developing and high cost, I doubt that I will keep my Spectra Camera and will sell it on Craig's List or EBay.

Only got like two useable pictures

Only got like two useable pictures....this stuff is very expensive for the just okay quality of the images. I suggest getting an instax wide camera and film instead.
