HERE ARE INSTRUCTIONS - read *by T***W on Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2011* Okay, first of all here are the easy instructionsInstructions: (amazon wouldnt let me post a link so here are step by step instructions)Before you get started, here's a list of things you'll need:- Door stop- Screwdriver or point chisel- HammerWith that, follow the simple steps below to install a hinged door stop in no time!Step #1: Decide whether you want to install the door stop at the door's top hinge or at its bottom hinge.Step #2: Close the door to keep it in place while working.Step #3: Place the tip of a screwdriver or a point chisel at the bottom end of the hinge pin.Step #4: Tap the head of the screwdriver or chisel with a hammer to back out and remove the hinge pin from the hinge.Step #5: Install the hinge door stop in its place. Insert the hinge pin part of the stopper into the hinge holes. Tap the head of the hinge pin with a hammer to secure it in the hinge.Step #6: Open the door to test the stopper. It's easy and it works! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effectively Stops the Door - But May Leave an Indentation in the Door Frame *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2017* This is a very effective door stop that stops well and is easy/flexible to install - but it does leave an indentation in the door frame over time. For my application this was ok - the alternative would have been door knobs that dented my refrigerator or damaged the door to my front load washing machine. The indentation has been small - it has left a small circular indentation in my door frame that is not very noticeable (and joins the list of many other dings and scratches in my frame over time!). And other door stop solutions I tried never effectively stopped the door! These will stop the door right where you set it and I have never had damage to my expensive appliances!So I would recommend these door stops for applications where you really need to effectively stop the door and are ok with some indentation in the door frame - where the benefit of stopping the door outweighs the cost of a small indentation. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far, so good! *by J***J on Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2015* I wanted something that would protect our drywall, but look subtle and integral to the door, rather that something attached to the wall or baseboard. These door stops look great on my doors, which have oil-rubbed bronze hardware & knobs. I like that they are adjustable, so you can allow the door to swing wider, if desired (see pic of bathroom door where there is no adjacent wall).I am a bit skeptical about their longevity. When tested, the doors do not come to an immediate stop, like they would with a door stop installed on your baseboard. Instead, the door feels a little "bouncy" or "spongy". In other words, the door comes to a stop, but has a couple of inches of "give" to it, so we adjusted the door stops accordingly. They seem like they'll serve their purpose fine with normal use. I certainly would not put a lot of pressure or weight on them or swing the door open forcefully.
