Depending on strains, many manufacturers will give a 3 year shelf life, but product will remain viable for years after that, just at a lower number. This strain is NOT as resiliant, so it has a much shorter shelf life. Put it in the ground and give it a product that promotes biological activity (seaweed extracts) and they will multiply if any are still viable. Can I still use it effectively?** A: There is a concern that the water activated growth of the bacterium and then drying out killed (some) of them. So it likely will not be as potent. I'd probably add extra to compensate **Q: Wiuld this cause my flowering/fruit plants to stop fruiting and instead grow lots of foliage?** A: Sorry flowering is controlled by the light dark cycle.
