Also the stand alone software is outstanding. It does also work with pro tools and studio one. This is what I've found on the daw info. "Basically the unit "is" an interface. Furthermore, in the future with a software update to S1 pro 3, you will be able to control RM preamp Xmax gain, parameters, dynamics, etc straight from the S1 pro 3 DAW. This is great for recallable scenes should you record a live full session studio recording band.
