The WAN ports can be configured to increase data throughput, backup each other (Failover mode), or share bandwidth (Load Balance). If you have your own Web server, FTP server and Mail server, the 4 WAN ports will provide additional bandwidth for customers. During heavy traffic on either wan port , the router would get into a buffer or memory congestion and not take any new requests until it was rebooted. Also, during any video streaming like google talk , the router would start dropping packets and video would get very choppy, which again required a reboot. Even when I took one wan connection off, the router would still have troubles processing alot of data traffic. The wireless access started acting up also, where it would take 10 minutes to connect a client. I opened a trouble ticket online with Draytek , and gave them logs, messages ,etc. Their support is subbed out to a 3rd party , and I got one email back , and then never heard from them , its been over 2 months now. Save yourself the trouble and money and buy a name brand , and stay away from off brands and multi wan products like this.
