Camco's Standard Battery Hold-Down Tray safely holds group 24/24M automotive batteries to prevent movement during transportation. The tray will fit batteries up to 11 1/8-inches (L) x 6 ¾-inches (W) x 8-inches (H). Product measures 11 9/16-inches (L) x 8 ½-inches (W) x 9 5/8-inches (H) and is constructed of heavy-duty, acid-resistant plastic with stainless steel hardware. Includes (1) tray, (2) rods, (1) cross bar and (1) knob. This product meets U.S. Coast Guard CFR 183.420 and ABYC E-10.7 specifications when used with group 24/24M batteries. Patented.

Review: Inexpensive, but substantial - I replaced the small 51R battery in my Honda CR-V with a Group 35, which has a higher capacity and was actually $10 cheaper. But the 35 is wider than the 51R, so the original battery tray would not fit. This Camco tray is designed for 24/24M batteries, but it's wide enough to hold the 35. It's heavier and more substantial than I expected, given the low price. The tray fit easily into the space where the original tray had been. Installation was very easy. The stock j-hooks and top bracket fit the 35 battery well, although the taller 35 battery didn't leave enough threads at the top of the j-hooks to fit the OEM plastic wire holders (which I fixed with a couple of plastic zip ties). Since I only needed the bottom tray, the threaded rods and the top bracket went into my box of "things that I might use for some future project".

A: The tray is 7” X 11”..the clamp width is 6 3/4” the adjustable locking rods are 7-9”.  Hope this helps!

A: It should  hold down at center  long thread hold down bolts  but depends also on make model yr  and size of battery  if for marine  tractor  boat  idk  i put 1 on a gmc 4x4 sonoma  no problem  just bought another 1 for a wj   it should fit

I purchased this to use for a battery system in my utility trailer for a solar set up. It’s a standard 12 V battery and though the clamps work well. My battery is a little taller and you cannot use the sound screws. I ended up purchasing another clamp set and made it work on this plastic tray. So just be aware that if your batteries a little extra tall you might not be able to use these clamps. They are a little short and I ended up having to purchase 10 1/2 inch long clamps.
