While the plastic container itself actually does hold whatever you put in it; the suction cups that come with it are a waste of time to even include in the packaging. Even under its own weight (container empty) the suction doesn't last long at all; even if you wet the cups a little. Point of fact; i'm having to use paracord to hang the container from the shower head because the suction cups don't work.
