The relief was considerable and has helped his condition to diminish. He wears a pad every day and walks on average 1.5 hours a day on hard pavement. Though the condition has not gone altogether (the lump is still there), the pad have helped the pain go completely. He still have to wear it, and changes pads every so often, but the pads are durable, so you can wear one for weeks. They are thin and do not feel uncomfortable, and pretty easy to put on (the hard part is putting the sock on over if you have tight socks). Once in place, the pad doesn't shift and you will not know you are wearing it. The pad can be worn on either left or right foot, which is also a bonus.
