CAREFULLY use some acetone on a wetted towel to soften the glues. Also on the speakers they are glued from the back of the cone. Remove the old surround and leave foam on the back of the speaker and glue the new surround to the front of the cone. Let is set overnight and be gentle with the speaker will all the glue has had a change to stretch. Worked perfect. Review: Take your time - Worked well on my Mission 707's. Prepping the speaker was rather time consuming and messy. Would purchase again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ but you really need to get rid of all of it to have a nice repair. Figuring how to get the new foam ... *by K***N on December 2, 2015* Overall this worked out very well to fix my Mission 707 speakers. However it took me closer to 2 hours per speaker (not 30 minutes) to get this done, doing this for the my time. Removing the old foam and glue takes most of the time and it's a huge mess, but you really need to get rid of all of it to have a nice repair. Figuring how to get the new foam in place took me a while since this foam mounts under the paper speaker cone which is somewhat unusual. The trick that I found on a video was to warm up and slightly stretch out the new foam then tuck it under the paper cone a inch-by-inch. The foam itself seems perfectly cut for these speakers and the glue was easy to work with. Ignore the instructions that come with it, they're for foam that mounts on the top of the paper cone.
