Review: Defective Product...Self-Pay to return - The mallet head chipped after using twice. I'm a beginner so I didn't hit it very hard at all. I'm concerned that the mallets won't hold up long term. After spending over $100- I expected that they would hold up longer than using twice. Seller said I have to self-pay to return... Warranty is useless.... desertcart allows 3rd party scammers... BEWARE OF THIS SELLER!!! EDIT: 03 January...Seller responded quickly. Said they will replace mallet head, still waiting to see what shipping will cost...$$ Also part of the problem was operator error...I chose to use regulation 16 oz balls... According to seller I should have chosen lighter weight balls (10-13 oz) I will update after replacement mallet head arrives.

**Q: How many do you get?**
A: You get as many as you order. What you are ordering is a single mallet. That said, the Oakley Woods Croquet Extreme mallet is NOT like anything you'll buy at a sporting goods or department store. They're built NOT to break so you're paying more but not having to suffer breakages as happens with the cheap mallets from 'off-shore'.

**Q: How long is the handle? Is there a choice in length?  Can it comfortably hit a one pound ball?**
A: With 1" screwed into the polycarbonate base makes this a 34" handle, 33" exposed length. This mallet can easily handle a one pound, regulation ball.

**Q: I would like to purchase two Extreme mallets. Am I going to be charged $28.30 or $56.60?**
A: Extreme Mallet is $44.00USD per mallet not including shipping.
