After watching countless YouTube videos and reading "Mom blogs", education sites, etc., we were excited to get our hands on this book! More Than Words seems to currently be the go-to in the homeschool community for Bible curriculum. Rebecca's videos are where I go for thorough lists of curriculums for different subjects and how I was able to piece together our curriculums with minimal stress. So far, we are LOVING IT! It's a beautifully written book with color pictures. Gentle and easy to do, with room for family discussion and creativity. Most of all, I love how easy it's made teaching my littles about God. I'm enjoying reading every morning right alongside them. I appreciate that it encourages checking in with and reading Bible scripture straight from the Bible. The only thing I regret is not purchasing the Level 2 instead of 1. Due to price, I was only able to afford one for now. Since I have a 4 and a 9-year-old, I chose Level 1, so my 4-year-old could understand. However, he's there for two seconds and off to play, but my 9-year-old and I like to continue discussion, adding our own little "extras" to make the lesson more involved for her. Regardless, we are loving this time together, and I'm grateful for it. Just wish I could have afforded her level as well, as I feel she's missing out. Now I'm on the hunt for a girl's study bible (hopefully half this price).
