If you like the "modern" fit where your butt sticks out the top, then buy these. However, if you are a business person, who like to look professional, then look elsewhere. I had previously purchased from Louis Raphael dress pants from this site and those fit great. There is a 4 inch difference in the rear rise of these pants.Louis Raphael, do you think the younger generation is your best customer? Do you think that all young men want to expose their rear end? If so, then continue with this marketing scheme.Myself, I believe there are more professionals out there that want to look professional. If you can't meet their needs, then they will have to look for another vendor. ### ⭐⭐ I can no longer recommend these pants *by W***2 on Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2016* These were my favorite work pants, and I’ve bought many, many pairs over the past few years. I even wrote a positive review on Amazon for them. I haven’t bought any over the past year, though, as I had enough on-hand for work. However, recently one of them suffered some damage and I needed a replacement pair, so I ordered one.Now that they’ve arrived, I have to say that I’m very disappointed in these pants. While they still look nice and the quality appears unchanged, they have two problems. First, they are much tighter in the waist now. These have an expandable waistband, a feature that I love, but with this pair, I’m at the upper end of where these pants fit me. The older ones fit fine, this pair does not. No, my old ones are not “stretched out”, and I haven’t gained any weight, in fact I’m about 10 pounds thinner than the last time I’ve bought these.Second, I’m long-waisted. Another thing I loved about these pants is that they were comfortably cut in the midsection and would sit fairly high up. These are now tight in the crotch and ride very low … several inches lower than my older pairs, in fact. Even when I hike them up as high as I can, they still ride an inch or two too low and I am also giving myself a wedgie to even get them that high. This may not be a problem for all men, but it's a big problem for me. This seems to be a current trend, wearing pants lower, but it doesn’t suit my body type.These pants might work for you, particularly if you like your pants to ride low, but they no longer work for me. These are fairly expensive pants, so if they’re now cutting them lower and tighter in an attempt to save on a little fabric, then shame on them. But goodbye Louis Raphael LUX pants, it’s over; we don't fit together anymore. The "original" line of Louis Raphael Luxe were a nice, heavy weight, premium "luxe" material and fit like wearing pajama pants! I'd get home after 12+ hours at the office and found myself forgetting I had them on and lounging in them..that's what I call comfort!I've been wearing them for years and still have 5 or 6 original pairs that are almost literally falling apart-had several sewn, stitched and patched just to keep them alive. These originals are a dead breed!I placed a large order through amazon for these, needing a major wardrobe update, without knowing they changed everything about them. I received the order, tried on one after the other and was shocked how horribly they fit. I mean, I was uncomfortable after five minutes of trying them on! The rise has been cut tremendously, they ride low, are slim cut EVERYWHERE. They fit like slim fit European cut skinny jeans..or whatever they call it. Absolutely terrible. I can't even imagine what their new Luxe "slim fit" line fits like! Needless to say, I sent the entire order flying back!To sum it up, these are not anything like the "original" Luxe line of LR pants (if you know those well). The originals are long gone and dead; you can still find a few out there if you do a lot of patient searching. Hint: look at the pattern on the interior of top of waistband area. The originals had a slanted multicolored and varying pattern of thick and thin lines all across.If you fell in love with Louis Raphael's line of Luxe pants of years past like I did, look elsewhere.
