The paddles are well made from strong durable plastic, with small vents to allow some water through so that they don’t cause too much strain on the shoulders and joints. The paddles are easy to attach to the hands with the silicone straps which can be adjusted to ensure a perfect fit so they aren’t too tight. The paddles themselves are slightly curved to catch the water in the palm area of the hands and mimic the normal position of the hand in the water. I have found the paddles comfortable to use and they have helped me ensure my hand position on entry into the water is good, and then as I can feel the water throughout the stroke, I have been able to make small changes to my arm position to get a more powerful and efficient pull. The paddles aren’t over large and are just slightly bigger than my hands, which I find perfect (I have medium/large size hands). It is advised to use the paddles only for a short duration during swimming sessions to avoid the risk of injuries from the increased resistance they create.
