The color is as seen, ivory-distressed. It puts out a good amount of heat. Fire flames are adjustable, as is temperature. Took my husband about 1 hour to assemble. Doors were a little tricky to get square. But otherwise super fast shipping and I’m pleased. So is my dog! Next, one corner of the mantle was banged up, even though it was well wrapped. But I used a furniture pen to make the gouge less noticeable. Finally, I have a 10x12 room and had to close the doors to make the room warm up with this fireplace, so I don’t think it would work well in a large room. The fan is on the noisy side and can feel like it’s blowing cool air if you are directly in front of it.
