They were either too hot and would melt a very wide area around the wire, or they were too cool and would take forever to cut through different foams. The Hot Wire Foam Factory kit solved all those problems. You can regulate the exact heat of the wire, it works like a charm. It's the best. Don't waste your money on other foam cutters. Go for this one and I know you'll be happy! ## Features - Versatile: This 2-in-1 Kit includes a 4" Hot Knife and Freehand Router with 5 wires for cutting and shaping foam projects. - Variable Heat: The Eco Variable Pro Power Station allows you to adjust the temperature for optimal cutting performance. - Instructional Video: An 85-minute Hot Wire Foam Factory video link is included to guide you through various foam cutting techniques. - Portable: The carrying box makes transporting your tools and acessories much more convenient. - Ergonomic Design: Each tool features a switch in the handle for easy on/off operation and 6 feet of cord for maneuverability. - Made in the USA ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00435PMBK | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,454,651 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #4,280 in Tool Sets (Tools & Home Improvement) | | Customer Reviews | 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars (2) | | Date First Available | September 15, 2010 | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item model number | K43KF | | Manufacturer | Hot Wire Foam Factory | | Part Number | K43KF | | Power Source | ac | ## Images ![Hot Wire Foam Factory Pro 4-inch Hot Knife & Freehand Router Foam Cutting Kit | Cuts EPS Foam, XPS, Styrofoam, & Polystyrene | Made in the USA - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71W3vD6PidL.jpg) ![Hot Wire Foam Factory Pro 4-inch Hot Knife & Freehand Router Foam Cutting Kit | Cuts EPS Foam, XPS, Styrofoam, & Polystyrene | Made in the USA - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41ng7+CMpwL.jpg) ![Hot Wire Foam Factory Pro 4-inch Hot Knife & Freehand Router Foam Cutting Kit | Cuts EPS Foam, XPS, Styrofoam, & Polystyrene | Made in the USA - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31In9WhswXL.jpg) ![Hot Wire Foam Factory Pro 4-inch Hot Knife & Freehand Router Foam Cutting Kit | Cuts EPS Foam, XPS, Styrofoam, & Polystyrene | Made in the USA - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61B1bKbFJyL.jpg) ![Hot Wire Foam Factory Pro 4-inch Hot Knife & Freehand Router Foam Cutting Kit | Cuts EPS Foam, XPS, Styrofoam, & Polystyrene | Made in the USA - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51eq2DNrXTL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The BEST *by S***E on February 2, 2023* I bought several foam cutters before purchasing this kit.
