## Description

The Franklin Sports Kids Street Hockey Stick and Ball Starter Set includes (2) 37-inch junior hockey sticks with vibrant NHL graphics and (1) 65mm low-density street hockey ball -- everything your boys and girls need to start playing right out of the box. The shaft and blade are constructed with a flexible and durable ABS plastic to withstand the natural wear and tear that comes with playing outside on pavement, and the same sticks hold up just as well for indoor floor hockey sessions in the gym or roller hockey training on paved trails. This hockey stick set has been specifically engineered for young athletes playing sports for the first time. The 2 sticks are perfect for one-on-one driveway play, after-school pickup games, weekend backyard battles, or any neighborhood scrimmage where your little athletes want to get outside and active as they are introduced to the sport of Hockey. Franklin and the NHL are proud to offer an item where kids can experience the thrill and excitement of Hockey while learning the fundamentals, building confidence, and having a blast with friends -- teach how to play while keeping learning fun! Review: Great for price - Kids love it. The decorative wrapping on the stick gets chopped off while playing. Cover stick with clear packaging tape to avoid tearing.
Review: Perfect For My Alternative Use - I don't play hockey and I don't have kids, but I do have a large yard and 2 miles of trails with a lot of pine trees. This means I also have a lot of pine cones that get stuck in the lawn mower and cause other difficulties. I wish I had discovered these hockey sticks years ago because they're perfect for whacking pine cones out of where they shouldn't be. They're light weight, just the right size, and cheaper than replacing lawn mower blades.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How tall are they**
A: the sticks are for toddlers. Very small.

**Q: Are the hockey sticks square or round?**
A: They look just like the picture--sort of square with rounded corners. My 6 year old grandson plays with them every day and loves them.

**Q: How thick is the blade? I'm looking for plastic that won't bend or give.**
A: 1/4" of flimsy plastic. This will not be the product you are looking for as the blade, not stick, will bend and give at the slightest pressure/force. Extreme blade flex. Not sure how the NHL endorses this product.

**Q: Where can i buy additional balls? The description says it is a low density ball but all i see on amazon is high density.**
A: I went to google, I put in FRANKLIN LOW DENSITY BALL, the search brought up several sites, select images of franklin sports NHL low density ball, pull it up and it will give you several selections, good luck.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect For My Alternative Use

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, duct tape works for grip
*by C***S on July 14, 2025*

The decal design thing wrap may be scratched by pavement. Duct tape helps if you wrap some for grip at the top. Good size for kids and teens. The blade part gets scratched sometimes by pavement. Fun to play with. Cool design tho.
