Don't know what the cause, butthis cream cleared it up! I would order again! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not really helpful for my hives. *by B***R on May 6, 2016* Ordered it for my bout of hives and received it after the horrible ordeal had almost ended. I still had an itch but felt almost no comfort when I applied it. I had applied everything I could think of and what helped the most was essential oils like lavender, peppermint and soaking in a tub of warm water and a solution of half cup of baking soda and half cup of corn starch. I also took Zyrtec and it alleviated most of the symptoms except the itch. I also made a cold packs with Dawn and a bit of alcohol and placed it in a quart sized freezer bag. I was miserable for a week after being bitten by fleas which in turn caused the hives. I had no idea what I had, thought the fleas were hunting me and only me because nobody else was getting bit! When I finally did, 8 miserable days had already passed and I was getting desperate. I had taken Benadryl but that only made me sleep all day and didn't help the itch.
