The gold in the glass is spectacular on the amber light setting. The fan is unbelievable. Quiet and very good air flow. I have it in bedroom 18'×18'. Little patience to put up but not bad if you're good at stuff like this. Watch any of the installation videos with similar retractable fans. They're all pretty much the same. Took me about 2+ hours because I had to cut the existing ceiling wallboard more to fit this bracket flush against the support and then to fit the remote box above. I also had to put in longer screws to tighten the finishing cap to ceiling since I was not mounted on the ceiling board directly. No big deal. Still used the shorter drop bar, capped off the black hot wire since we also had a red hot.
