Fit was perfect and only took about 30 minutes, with 5 minutes of help from a second pair of hands, to attach it to the roll bar. I followed other reviewers' advice and did not tighten the fasteners until all were in place. It was fairly easy to install, a little heavy and cumbersome to do one person so ask someone for a hand holding the shelf in place while you bolt it in. I love love love how organized this helped me get my jeep cargo area. I have my gear strapped down on the top which leaves plenty of room for luggage, groceries, or my recovery gear when I go off roading. Before, my gear would slide around in the back, then have to push it all back in place when I neeeded to haul something in the cargo area. It drove me crazy.
