Admittedly, I do have a big head, but I expected the elastic to accommodated that. So I cut off the very flimsy elastic sewn in at the base and substituted a piece of 1/2" elasticized headband. I do wear it with that change, but the "non-slip" really isn't. In half an hour or so, it slides back on my hair and within an hour, I have to take it off and start all over. But is is pretty - much more like the picture than the written description. The "sparkling jewels" are embroidered in metallic thread and are quite subtle. I just wish it fit properly out of the box. Oh, the box!
