Will it fit in a standard electrical plate?** A: Yes. The brushes and wall plate are detachable and are of standard size. **Q: Will this work for pre-drywall on a standard low voltage cable box? Can the brush plate be installed on the bracket, then post drywall the face plate?** A: The TG8901 is made up of two parts that can be seperated and installed as desired. **Q: anyone post some pics up close with cables coming through? how do these compare with the grommet style?** A: I used both. This type was easier, looks better and no problems installing. **Q: Can I run 110v power cord thru this wall plate?** A: Yes, but not legally. I ended up using these, one of each side of the wall, and they worked great. I found the easiest way to install them was to pass the wires through the wall, put them through the wall plate, and then slide the wall plate up to the wall and attach it.
