These socks & their hoses stay to the compression. You MUST measure by their instructions to order the correct size. I love the open toes & cool temperature of these for the summer in Texas! I'm very active & the socks' compression work14-15 hour days withcomfort. They wash in cold water well & wear great along keeping the 20-30mmhg compression. These socks assist me in singing in the choir too! My valves below my knees quit working 4 years ago at the age of 60 in my legs. I play 18 holes of golf, exercise, and work in my flower gardens and yard wearing the socks. The support is awesome and I don't have swelling in my legs.
