Review: Perfect - I didn't know if will work with minis-forum um690. But apparently it's perfect. I mounted "on top" , because the arm motor I have is a bit different. Ergotron HX. It's a big arm, and if I would put the adapter as intended , on horizontal position , I would have lost access to one side of the mini pc, with usb C ports. In one of the photos you can "see" when I hold the mini pc close to the arm. I intend to buy one more, because I want to mount also a Mac mini probably on the bottom side, I'll update the review after I'll do it. Great product, recommend for whoever needs something like that. Last photo is the view from the front of the monitor, you barely see it.When you stand up.
Review: Excellent for attaching a NUC and a monitor arm to your monitor - Excellent build quality, good instructions and works... However, I sometimes need to move my monitor and NUC to a different location where i reattach the original (non-vesa) stand for the monitor. The screws supplied with the kit are too long to have only the bracket and NUC attached with no monitor arm. the setup still works but the bracket flaps around. This could be fixed easily by including shorter screws or a spacer in the kit. I appreciate that this isn't the standard use case for this item though so most people would not have this issue

**Q: How far apart are the two vesa mounts?**
A: Making sure to level set on what we are talking about here; The bracket is a VESA 100mm mount, which means the VESA holes are on 100mm centers: The mount must allow a side clearance of 10mm from the center of the holes on all sides of each hole: The Bracket footprint is actually 120mm across (with 10mm Radiused edges). The NUC bracket is the same 100mm pattern with the same clearance (120mm). Distance between the two 120mm mounts is 20mm (~25/32"). The kit comes with standoffs needed to clear the Z-axis of contoured monitors which are VESA-compliant.

**Q: I need to mount 2 nucs to the back of my monitor.  can i use 2 plates (one to the left, 2nd to the right) so that i can mount both at the same time?**
A: That should work as long as you have screws long enough to go through the monitor mounting plate (on the monitor stand/mounting arm), both of these brackets, and the monitor itself.

**Q: We need longer screws to use this with our current lcd mounting hardware.  the screws that come with it are 1" long. i need 1.25" screws?**
A: Usually you do not want to use very long screws on monitors or flat screen TVs. You can damage internal components. In fact often we have to use spacers to make sure you do not go deeper. You can use a lock washer to be sure you have a good connection. I often use industrial velco to attach the small computers and rarely use a mount at all.

I didn't know if will work with minis-forum um690. But apparently it's perfect. I mounted "on top" , because the arm motor I have is a bit different. Ergotron HX. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This a very good item, but is designed for people who have a NUC AND a NUC Mounting Plate

I have several NUCs, they are excellent but only one came with a NUC Mounting Plate. I had three NUCs that I wanted mount on the underside of my desk, so I purchased these, I don't have NUC plates for them. It is well engineered item, that would be much better with a fraction more metal and two correctly positioned holes for bolts into the bottom of a NUC. BUT with a half round file and a little effort, short 6ba bolts and two small hollows in the plate and they securely mount my NUCs I looked at this item on several places before buying from Amazon and none mentioned NUC plates, so I think the need for NUC Mounting Plate is a deficiency of the manufacturer's ad material not Amazon
