I bought it bc my knees hurt during yoga and I thought a thicker mat would help. It helps your knees, but the mat is too thick to keep your balance on other standing poses. I just use this mat at home now for exercises like sit ups and other ab work. I don’t take it to yoga. I’ve gone back to my original thin mat but put another mat from the gym underneath the area where your knees hit. It is great on my knees and elbows. I use the logo (striped) side as the top side. It does not move during use. There are no visible signs of mark or surface deterioration . I highly recommend it.
