Review: doubles the ice survival time - after several days forced to go from metal water bottles to plastic/clear as per new work rules i decided to try this bottle out in the hope that it would keep my water cold longer. its clear enough to pass the “transparent” rules *shrugs*. first test showed that ice filled to the top and then water filled in around it lasted almost exactly 3 and 1/2 hours with the water itself staying tolerably cold for around 30 minutes to 1 hour afterwards depending on ambient temperature. the plain plastic bottles used before this kept ice for only 1 hour with the water only staying cold for around 2. this more than doubles the amount of time the water stays cold. i plan to get a sleeve for the bottle to further improve the amount of time the water is cold as well as to reduce the bottles condensation, which is probably the worst ive ever seen in a water bottle though it makes complete sense. expect your drink to be cold longer and the bottle to sweat like a whore in church.
