I did spray a suede protector on them when I first got them and I've had them about a month now. I got them in the winter and we've had snow, ice, slush, or mud on the ground ever since. I have wore these boots everyday since I've recieved them. They are warm and have kept my feet dry,which makes them worth the money as far as I'm concerned. They were very stiff in the ankle area, but that only took a few days of snow and slush to work out. They have not water stained, but I'm sure that was due to the suede protector. They have not leaked, and believe me when I tell you, with all I've walked through they would have leaked by now. The shaft is stiff and stays straight but I prefer that. It makes them easier to store in my closet and easier to put on. The shaft may fall with age but with all the moisture they've been exposed to, you would have thought they would start to relax by now. I'm very pleased with these boots. They look great and are comfortable and most important they keep my feet warm and dry. SO warm. The fit is great. I wear a 9 1/2 and got a 10. The shearling is AWESOME. I wear them without socks 90% of the time but on super cold days (-20 in Wisconsin this year!!!) I wear socks. For everyday they are so great. I do have to walk a long way into work (probably >1/2 mile) and I will say I wish they had more support for that. But just around town or the mall they are great. They look super cute and I've gotten lots of compliments on them. Considering I got them for the warmth~ I'm thrilled. These are so cute, warm and comfy! I love them so much. I have two colors - Camel and Hickory. See my picture of the Camel color below. It's a little lighter than Ugg's Sand color, but I still like it.NOTE! I protected these suede boots with Rustoleum Never-Wet for outdoor Fabric, the picture shows them AFTER i sprayed the NeverWet on them. NeverWet did not have any effect on the color of the boots! I was super happy about that!
