I love the fact that they are sterling silver with a rose gold plating and not copper. Still, the color seemed a little more coppery to me than rose. I asked a relative what color they were, and she immediately said, "They're rose gold," so I guess the problem lies with me, not with the earrings. I don't have a lot of rose gold, so perhaps I'm just not sure what it should look like.These earrings are very lightweight and easy to wear. I don't even feel I'm wearing them. You can sleep in them, but I wouldn't advise doing so. Why take a chance on the clasp breaking? I am not as fond of this type of clasp as I am of other types of clasps because it just seems more difficult to get it fastened. At least it does for me. You may be different and love this type of clasp. That's just a matter of personal preference. I do love hoop earrings and most seem to fasten this way.I've had absolutely no irritation from these earrings, but I do have to add that I don't have sensitive ears at all.These earrings are cute enough, and small enough, to wear every day.
