Personally I use a 2" or 3" square edge good quality brush (Wooster brand) made in the USA to paint crown modling and trim. I hope this help this helps you out. **Q: Already have mx, can i buy xt and pole only?** A: Sorry I bought the entire thing. I don't know if they sell the pole separate. Check with the dealer. **Q: With using this product, do you have to use painting tape still?** A: If you are really steady handed no-tape but if you are not then I thnk tape is good.
