I have had these since March, and I even went so far as to buy their little bait stations too. 3 months ago, I placed the station right next to a hole where mice were entering my home. Of course they simply avoided it. I set up a night vision capable camera and watched them walk around it rather than go inside and eat the bait. So, I placed a disc outside of the station and still in front of the hole. They literally crawled over it and just went along their merry way. I even tried to put this in a dish with rice, bird seed, cheese, you name it. I tried so many things and they would still not touch this bait. I even crushed some of the pellet version that I bought and mixed that with different things. Guess what? They wouldn’t even eat cheese if it’s coated in this stuff! WOW. So what about outside? Nope, not a single bite. I placed bait stations outside too. I even got some other brand ones with bigger openings so the rats coming down from the hillside would fit. They crawled on top of the stations rather than go inside. And when I put bait on top of the station, they didn’t even pay them any attention. Mice and Rats are simply not attracted to this bait at all, so how could it possibly work if they won’t eat it? I have no clue what to do to entice them to eat these darn things. I was so hopeful that this would reduce their numbers, but I was deeply disappointed. What a waste of my hard earned money. If it was still within the return window, I would grab all the discs and pack them back up in the bag to get a refund. Yes, I have all the discs still because the mice and rats won’t even sniff this stuff let alone eat it. Its very important to me to not cause more harm in the world. We have a small horse farm & other livestock rats too. I just drop the bait into the hole.
