**Q: Does this chain look or feel cheap?**
A: Not at all.  The color is not shiny cheap, but deep silver. The strength did well when woven into kumihimo beading which must be handled over and over. The chain made a lovely 8 strand necklace.

STURDY, just as other reviews say. It was hard to pry these links open with my little jewelry pliers, and I ended up using regular hardware pliers. Definitely workable, but be mindful if you have weak hands/not the right tools. I got the 6mm, 16.5 ft roll, which ended up being perfect for the decorative shoulder "chain mail" I was making. Finished my project in one evening, and have just about a foot of chain left. My hands are quite sore today, a worthy trade off for such a durable chain, and with more ergonomic pliers, I think that too could have been avoided.
