The only EMF detected is at the plug. I lay with my head opposite of the plug to avoid exposure. **Q: can you sleep on this mat?** A: I don't think it is ideal to leave permanently on your bed for fire hazard reasons. That said, it is totally comfortable to sleep on. I add a sherpa massage table cover in addition to the factory cover and it is super comfortable. **Q: I’d like to purchase for body pain and am curious if it just feels like a heating pad or does it really get deep into the muscle?** A: Deep heating element pad thank you **Q: Is there an extended warranty?** A: Only have one year warranty ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 100% helps *by on Reviewed in the United States October 18, 2021* I have fibromyalgia and severe arthritis in my hip.
