A: It comes in a box.

**Q: how any rods per lb?**
A: It appears that you are trying to find out how many welding rods are in a 1 pound package of 1/16,,1/8,, and 3/32. Which size rod? I use so much i don't count them. Go to a weld store and ask for a 1 pound tube of the size you need and open it and count them. Who counts them?
